Start from templates, speak your persona's language, and get going faster

Browse ready-made persona templates, try them in chat before you sign up, choose a persona language that carries through creation and conversation, and enjoy smoother chat and generation along the way.

This release makes it easier to get value from Ask Sona sooner. You can browse published persona templates, chat with one before creating an account, and add it straight into a project when you are ready. Personas can now have a defined language that flows through setup, generation, and chat — and we polished the everyday experience around photos, navigation, and template onboarding.

Browse and use persona templates

Ask Sona now ships with a persona template catalog on the marketing site and inside the product.

Each template is a fully shaped persona you can explore, try in chat, and add to a project — instead of starting from a blank profile every time.

For users, this means a faster on-ramp: pick something close to your use case, see how it feels in conversation, then make it yours inside your workspace.

Try a template before you sign up

Visitors can open a template on asksona.io/templates, start chatting, and get a real sense of the persona before committing.

If you want to keep going, you can create an account and continue from where you left off — or add the template directly to a project once you are signed in.

The practical benefit is less guesswork upfront. You can evaluate fit in a live conversation instead of imagining it from a description alone.

Add templates to your projects from inside the app

Signed-in users can browse the template catalog from the app and add a template to an existing project through a dedicated flow.

That makes templates useful not just for first-time setup, but whenever you want a strong starting point for a new persona inside ongoing work.

For users, this means less repetitive setup across projects and a clearer path from “I like this template” to “this persona lives in my project.”

Choose a language for each persona

When you create or edit a persona, you can now set whether they speak English or German.

That choice is respected when Ask Sona generates persona content and when you chat with the persona — so replies stay in the language you intended, not whatever the model happens to default to.

For users, this means more natural personas for bilingual teams and German-speaking workflows, without manually steering every conversation back to the right language.

Chat and navigation that stay out of your way

The persona sidebar stays open while you are in an active chat thread, so context is easier to keep in view. If you tried a template first, installing it into a project is clearer and more direct. Persona grids and photo widgets also behave better on smaller screens and while images are still generating.

The result is a calmer workflow when you are moving between personas, threads, and template onboarding — especially on longer sessions.

Smarter persona generation

Persona generation now runs on an updated model stack, including refreshed photo generation.

Together with the language support above, new and updated personas should feel more consistent in tone, output quality, and visual presentation.

For users, this means less rework after creation and personas that feel more complete from the first pass.

Other improvements

The marketing FAQ is easier to scan with a cleaner accordion layout. Try-flow and upgrade messaging is available in German as well as English. File uploads in projects handle naming more reliably. Auth and privacy defaults were tightened behind the scenes.
